Well it is still way too hot to camp out in the wilderness but camping is in the hearts of my kiddos. They are very eager to get camping season underway so we started on Thursday night. Alora slept under the orange part, Andrew was under the plaid and can you guess where Joey and I slept...That's right in the Dora Hut! The things we do for our kids. We survived most of the night on our air mattress in the confines of the Dora decorated house, but at about 4:30, we made a break for it. My neck paid the price all day Friday, but it is fun to do such things for the children. : )
They really wanted smores but I could not find fire wood anywhere. Apparently Walmart sees no need for firewood at this time. So, I had to improvise--turns out this little improvise was a very tasty one. I took graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows and placed them in the oven to bake.
These little babies were quite the mallow of perfection, melt-in-your-mouth style. Mmm... Family Fun at it's tastiest.
I decided that we are going to have to make these more often.
